My fee is $150 per 50-minute session. I offer a sliding scale when cost may be a barrier to accessing therapy; please feel free to ask about availability. Payment is made by e-transfer within 24 hours of the session. A receipt is provided once payment is received.

Many extended health insurance plans provide coverage for services from a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm coverage. I do not provide direct billing; receipts are provided for you to submit for reimbursement.

In your first session, we’ll talk more about what brings you to therapy, and some of the relevant history and experiences that can help me get to know you. We’ll discuss your goals for therapy and how we might work together. I’ll review confidentiality, consent, and some practical aspects of therapy, and you’ll have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

The frequency and length of therapy depend on your needs, goals, and circumstances. I generally recommend starting with weekly sessions to establish some continuity in our work. Over time, we may decide to meet less frequently based on your progress, the level of support you’re looking for, and practical considerations such as availability and cost.

Gestalt psychotherapy is a relational and experiential approach that considers the whole person and their experience. It focuses on developing greater awareness of patterns in how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. We may explore how these patterns developed, how they have supported you, and whether they continue to fit your life now.
